The device of humanistic education in Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. Discourses y practices in the emergence of the pedagogic studies in San Luis (1939-1945)

This work presents one of the research lines of the doctoral thesis in Education Sciences. In this context, we will account for the following aspects: the university experience in San Luis, strongly linked to the creation of Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in 1939; the discourses and practices generated with the appearance of the pedagogic studies in relation to the foundation of San Luis Pedagogic Institute (1942); and the creation of the Teacher Education Program in Pedagogy and Philosophy. In order to tackle the irruption of these events, we will analyze the conditions of historical possibility in which they took place; and we will problematize the humanist bias that marked the training of teachers. These analyses will be framed in an epistemological perspective related to the History of Educational Practices.
