Abstract

This paper deals with the spaces where adults were formed in Spain (1875-1936), in an age of social confrontation and struggle. Opposite the church, political parties offered other spaces, some parallels to the Church schools, cultural centers, houses of the village libraries. The impact had socialist village houses, cultural centers and workers anarchists stands. Means that channeled teachings and facilitated learning are studied. The incidence of these spaces means to develop a transitive consciousness that made possible the conquest of democratic values is emphasized.
