One of the most fertile themes in recent history has been –undoubtedly- the revolutionary militancy that erupted in the tumultuous 1970s. Within the specialized bibliography, some works, becoming classic approaches, have focus on the study of a specific armed organization, such as the landmark works by Gillespie (1987) and, later, Pozzi (2001). The work of González Canosa is inserted in this genre, covering a notable historiographical gap.
