Abstract

Os diversos trabalhadores da educação, com destaque para os docentes, a sua organização em associações e sindicatos, bem como sua atuação, essencialmente, no Brasil, são o tema central desta obra, Sindicalismo e Associativismo dos Trabalhadores em Educação no Brasil: com escritos sobre a Argentina, Inglaterra, país de Gales e Portugal. Os organizadores do livro possuem uma importante construção de pesquisa acadêmica junto ao Gruphis (Grupo de Pesquisa em História e Teoria da Profissão Docente e do Educador Social). Os autores, apesar de diferentes origens nacionais, convergem no mesmo ideal de atuação sindical e questionamento de um mundo de exploração capitalista.
