Abstract

On the basis of analytical perspectives which stops the formation of State bureaucracies and the careers of officers who were members of them, in this paper we present a reconstruction of the professional route of the oenologist and agronomist Leopoldo Suárez. This history deserves special attention because it would have strengthened between 1905 and 1916 specializing in studies on viticulture, and the possession of this knowledge would have catapulted him as a member of the technical team that supported the economic and agricultural policy cycle radical-lencinista Mendoza (1918-1928), led by José Néstor Lencinas.
