Abstract

This text, in the form of a personal and academic account, seeks to pay homage to the life and work of Juan Carlos Garavaglia (1944-2017), highlighting some of his relations with the Brazilian academic environment, developed between 2001 and 2016, a period in which we enjoy an intellectual interlocution intense and fraternal friendship.
