Abstract

The aim of this work is to articulate two spheres of associations: ethnic and the workers, investigating their specificities and instances of encounter. In this direction, we will analyze the trajectories of activists and leaders who led activities of political participation and took a leading role in commemorations and tributes, crossing the boundaries between the immigrant associations and the labor universe. An examination of the sources- mainly provincial newspapers, socialists and ethnic press-- suggest this transit between different associative spaces by renowned association worker figures from Tucuman who acted, in turn, in companies located in neighboring provinces such as Santiago del Estero.
