Abstract

This work is part of an investigation major, whose objective is the analysis of the ways that adopted the relationships between indigenous societies and the spanish colonial system in the jurisdiction of Córdoba, since its foundation in 1573 at 1620, with special emphasis on a different characteristics presented the participation of the indigenous population in market activities stimulate or organized by the spanish colonizer. In this article, we will refer to the textile industry, one of the main productive activities in which indigenous groups participated in Córdoba during the early colonial years. Tissues were held in the "pueblos de indios" of rural areas, on which we have previous works, among other we highlight the research of Gaston Doucet about the "pueblo del Quilpo", and relate our progress in urban houses of colonizer on which relate to our research advances.
