Abstract

The purpose of this article is the analysis of agricultural policy Peronism around the property and land tenure during the 1970s, particularly in the first years in office. The focus of the analysis is the attempt to begin to structure, from the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Reform whose destination is the limit on a bill that is not even the subject of legislative debate. There are several factors that contribute to this result, but there are two processes which, in our opinion, prevent the realization of the so-called Land Law: confrontation certainly derived from large corporations owners, but also divisions within the government Peronist affecting severe climate of political and social conflict which in turn leads to a process of weakening of state capacities.
