PERÓN THIRD GOVERNMENT AND THE BROKEN OF RULING CLASS

Abstract

In the years that passed between the coup d'etat of 1955 and the return of Perón in 1973, the Argentina went through one of its deepest crises. The accumulation of capital was stagnant, the divided ruling class and none of the many Governments (and political regimes) that followed managed to reverse the situation. At the same time, in 1969, began a process of social mobilization and political radicalization that confront the system as a whole. One of the least studied aspects of this period is the political intervention of the ruling class. In this article we intend to move forward on this issue, addressing the strategies of the different layers of the industrial and agricultural bourgeoisie against the democratic opening and the return of Perón. We will take as observable corporate entrepreneurs, their positions, their alliances and their internal squabbles.
