Abstract

From a case study, the paper examines the symbolic, political and social impact of agrarian policy in the province of Buenos Aires during the first Peronism. In particular, analyzes the legal and judicial process of expropriation -bound field colonization- "Santa Rosa", located in Chascomús and registered in the name of Jorge Maria and Luis Emilio Bemberg, members of one of the largest conglomerates in the Argentina. As part of the offensive launched by Peron, this landmark case to study the actions of the "second line" peronist, the contradictions between discourse and practice agrarian and provincial and local repercussions of the conflict between the state and a business group.
