Abstract

In this article are analyzed some of the agrarian policies of the peronism and the attitudes held by the two main agrarian organizations: the Sociedad Rural Argentina, as the defender of the big landowners, and the Federación Agraria Argentina, as representative of the farmers, at that time mainly tenants. In particular, it is studied the failed try to modify the national agrarian law (1946), the new tenancy law (1948) and the reform, with a very different sense to the first try, of the agrarian law (1954).
