Abstract

This article analyzes the anti-communism in Argentina and Brazil in the sixties. Focusing on anti- communist discourses and practices, and their impact on the cultural field, we analyze the role of different actors in the implementation of anti-Communist legislation, which began in the fifties, was accompanied by violent practices encouraged or ignored by the State.
