Abstract

In the context created by the celebrations of the first Centenary of the May Revolution, the mayor of the City of Rosario, Isidro Quiroga, ordered to hire, at the request of the City Council, the city planner and french architect Joseph Antoine Bouvard to establish the guidelines planned urbanization plan The project, clear French connotation, is developed from a network of boulevards, diagonal and green spaces, taking into account all of the urban sector. The article discusses the web of relationships that were formed around him and that conditioned his future, determining that behind every urban intervention is an image of ideal city which intended build.
