From a comparated perspective, we intend to study the political power configuration in the interior of Buenos Aires at the first half of the twentieth century. In this regard, we are intrested in rescue the figures of Pedro Díaz Pumará (in Benito Juárez) and Juan Adolfo Figueroa (in Tandil). The trajectory of both allows to reflect on ways of building the political leadership. The choice of a comparative study is fundamental for our understanding, this will allow us delve not only into the transformations else also in the persistance of the ways of power construction. In this way, we will try to show the personal networks that these politicians had; this networks, more that the party structure, were which made possible the power maintenance in long-term in the provincial interior.
