Abstract

In this paper we analyze an early project of regional integration in the State Railways play a key role in connecting the regions of the Bolivian Altiplano and Eastern to Argentine ports of the riverfront of the Paraguay and Parana rivers and from there access other river ports and overseas. These proposals were intended to channel the economic and trade exchanges. Since the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, the Argentine government’s planned extension of two railways lines to the Bolivian border to connect with the lines of that country. The same goal was the construction of the Railway Development in the territories of the Chaco region of Argentina. In the case, we use various sources and reports of public bodies.
