Abstract

This collective contribution addresses the problem of
inequalities in the world of work in different spaces in the interior
of Argentina in the first half of the 20th century based on four
case studies. The main aim is to account for the diversities of labor
experiences and the processes of construction of labor legislation
from a viewpoint that involves multiple social and state actors. The
"off-center" perspective of the big cities -especially Buenos Airesand
focused on social inequalities make the canonical visions of
the world of work and the construction of labor legislation more
complex and nuanced.
