Abstract

The article is about the requests made by the authorities of the towns of Buenos Aires to the Ministro de Gobierno of the province around the rights on the use and ownership of solares and quintas on the middle of the 19th century. Seeks to compare from requirements of towns with different situations, characteristics and backgrounds, and the answers given by different members of the State (surveyors, attorney, consultant). Shared applications show the centrality and complexity of the rights to land in the towns, while discrepancies by the members of the State would be part of the limits on the possibilities of the deployment on towns.
