Half a century after the coup d'état of March 24, 1976, the dictatorial past remains a relevant topic of debate in the public sphere, fueled by memorial disputes that seem destined to endure. But this past also presents itself as a territory thoroughly analyzed by a historiography that, in the 21st century, has devoted extensive and sustained attention to it.
