This paper analyzes the participation of the maritime worker ́s union on the Argentine ́s radio in the thirties as a unique and valuable experience. At the same time it addresses such participation from a perspectivewhich sheds some light into the uses and forms of appropriation of the media by the Trade Union as a tool for the construction of a trade strategy, as shown by the case of the conferences conducted by the Unión Obrera Marítima of Buenos Aires at the end of that decade in Radio CulturaDownloads
