Peer Review Process
The manuscripts will be received by the Editorial Secretary and the authors will be notified of their reception within a period not exceeding 10 days. Contributions that do not meet the specified publication norms or do not fit the profile of the journal will not be accepted. The articles submitted to Avances del CESOR must be original and may not be simultaneously under evaluation by another publication. In reference to these conditions, the authors will be asked for a signed declaration that will be sent to the Editorial Secretary . In the first instance, texts will be reviewed by the Editorial Counsil in order to verify their relevance to the editorial profile of Avances del CESOR and whether it meets basic requirements for a scientific journal. Articles will have to overcome various tools for rule out plagiarism or self-plagiarism. The manuscrips which pass the evaluation of Editorial Counsil will be subjected to an arbitration procedure headed by two external evaluators both to journal and publishing institution. During the evaluation, the names of both the authors and the evaluators will remain anonymous (double-blind system). Reviewers will receive an evaluation form that they will need to complete, based on different items to consider. The journal will inform authors of results of the evaluation within a maximum term of five months. When the final version of the text is received, it is the Editorial Counsil which reviews the changes which have been made. The Editorial Counsil is responsible for the final decision to publish or reject an article.
